Dora & Diego Let's Explore! At Discovery Science Center

Kids!  Don your backpacks...grab your maps! Nickelodeon's wildly popular preschool-targeted show about the seven-year-old girl who explores an imaginary world with jungles, beaches, and rainforests is coming to life at the Cube!  Over the weekend, Dora & Diego - Let's Explore! opened at Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, California for a limited run through the Spring.

Based on the #1 preschool television show, the interactive exhibit engages children in the worlds of Dora and her cousin Diego.  Throughout the play-based educational exhibit, children will recognize places and characters from the show as they solve problems, engage in active play, learn how to be a good friend, and care for animals and the environment.  Integration of Spanish vocabulary, which is a distinguishing aspect of the show, is incorporated throughout the exhibit.

Dora & Diego - Let's Explore! is targeted towards toddlers and preschoolers, who'll enjoy the familiarity of the characters and the hands-on, interactive play stations.  Parents will appreciate the exhibits educational tie-in and the opportunities to explore and discover with their children.

The traveling exhibit, which was created by The Children's Museum of Indianapolis in partnership with Nickelodeon, stimulates and helps children discover verbal, mathematical, musical, visual, naturalist, social, and intra personal skills. Parents are encouraged to explore the exhibit with their children as they ask questions, problem-solve, and use their imaginations. Be sure to pick up a free family guide to make the most of the exhibit and continue to explore at home.

You and your children can explore with Dora and Diego until May 6th at Discovery Science Centerl
