This Cinco de Mayo, enjoy URBANA’s Happy Hour (3pm-6pm), which features the $7 Urbana Margarita, $3 beer, and $10 Al Pastor Quesadilla. Santa Ana’s own Dos Chinos began as a popular food truck and has now made its way into Downtown Santa Ana's popular food hall, 4th Street Market. The concept combines Mexican and Latin flavors with classic Vietnamese cuisine. You can celebrate ‘Chino de Mayo’ with their yummy Southeast Asian Al Pastor. Dos Chinos also has bragging rights as being OC Weekly Reader's Poll: Best Of, 2015 Winner, so you know it's bomb. Plus, there will be plenty of Cinco celebrations going on nearby in the historic town of Santa Ana.
Live it up at La Vida Cantina this Cinco de Mayo. The Costa Mesa spot will have an outdoor bar complete with fire pits, serving up tasty drinks 11am - close. There will be live music, face painting, pinatas, and ICE LUGES. On the food front, La Vida Cantina will be serving up a Crispy Taco Platter (5 tacos for $10), and Carnitas Sliders (2 for $6), among lots of other tasty items during Happy Hour from 4pm - 6:30pm. All day drink specials include $3 beers, and $8 featured tequila shots.
Grab a table at Gabbi’s Mexican Kitchen in Old Towne Orange for a more upscale spot this Cinco de Mayo. Enjoy the beautiful interior and great ambiance at Gabbi’s over one of their delicious plates. This popular OC spot integrates modern fare with traditional Mexican cuisine, resulting in plates like Duck Carnitas Tacos and Queso Fundido con Hongos. Don’t skip the tequila flight either, which comes with a house selection of three 1 oz premium tequilas. This Cinco de Mayo, Chef Gabbi Patrick will feature a special drink and menu.
