Brenda Weber, Convention Services Manager

I love being a native of Southern California, and I love my every day life. I am the first to admit that it sometimes feels like the directions on a shampoo bottle; lather, rinse, repeat. I do the same thing every day, but these seemingly mundane tasks fill me with great joy. Taking my daughter to school might not seem very exciting, but add in the “Annie” soundtrack with the sunroof open, and it’s quite a jumpstart to the day. I then go to work and can hear the steam whistle from Disneyland’s Mark Twain paddleboat as I walk from my car. In the evening, I enjoy cooking dinner and walking in my neighborhood that boasts charming homes with beautiful gardens. In the summer, I mix it up a bit by adding in baseball games at Angels Stadium, trips to the beach, and visits to local farmers markets to enjoy a bounty of fresh produce. Finally, the bedtime routine with my daughter brings the day to a wonderful close. The scent of lavender bubble bath lingers in the air, books have been read, and the house is quiet. I can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow.
